This was fun to make and looks lovely hanging across a mantelpiece ready for the Christmas season, as shown in the pictures.At each end of the JOY, I have added a little handmade decorations - a present at one end, with suitable 'present' themed fabric
... and a Christmas stocking at the other.
The fabric is wonderful Christmas fabric... with three different patterns used, one for each letter. I especially like the fabric for the O, which is small sheep with Christmas trees. Take a close look... the Christmas trees on this fabric are topped with gold stars. It's really cute.
The letters are individually made, and are stiff. This is a garland you can bring out year after year.
They are padded and backed with red felt. They are sewn to a red ribbon, which I've looped at each end and finished with a button.
