It's been some time since I had a chance to develop something for the shop, and I'd like to thank all those who have ordered and kept me busy. So what have I got that's new?! Having been guilty of popping my glasses into my bag, because I don't like the bulky case that came with them, I decided to make myself a fabric case out of some of my favourite fabrics. It's worked so well that I've designed some gorgeous glasses cases to pop on here.
Each case is slightly different, most are a beautiful patchwork medley, using fabrics from Laura Ashley, Liberty, and Cath Kidston. As ever, click on the pictures to see the cases close up.
A pretty, contrasting lining complements the outer fabric.
The sides are hand stitched, and they are interlined with a soft wadding.
They all have different buttons - most from my vintage collection. One closes with a loop of elastic over the back.
