Fun padded cosy tea cosies... with Cath Kidston fabric

These are fun and are guaranteed to add a splash of colour to anyone's kitchen. I've stitched them to fit an average sized teapot (measurement flat across the base is 30 cm, total height is 22 cm) . They are each made from Cath Kidston bubbles fabric, which I always think is an incredibly cheerful design for use in the kitchen, and each is lined in a different gingham. They are padded thickly for keeping your pot warm.

These are gorgeous little scatter cushions, made from top quality cotton printed fabric.

There are four designs: poppy, peony, rose, and tulip.

They work well together, or alone. And complement a whole range of colours.

Each has a different coloured pastel backing, made from the same top quality cotton - this is not cheap fabric.

With a generous polyester stuffing, each measures approx 22 cm x 19 cm.

Felted pure wool brooches - tarten and soft blue designs. Fabulous Christmas presents!

The tarten brooches are a very unusual shade, and very special because of it.


The soft blue felt has touches of pink and yellow and green - these are stunning, and are set off with red leaves from my tartan felt.

They are guaranteed to look stunning adorning a coat, cardigan, or bag.

New baby girl and boy hearts. Fabric hearts for special events!

I've just popped a set of hearts in the shop, and now I'm following with a new range of hearts for newborns I'm developing. These are guaranteed to add that special personal touch to celebrate the arrival of a baby. I can personalise with names if you wish. These particular hearts each have heart shaped buttons, and two have gingham backings - in pink or blue. One has been left in the same pretty spot fabric so it's neutral.


This is the neutral heart, with spot fabric back and front, and letter cubes spelling NEW BABY. A yellow heart button finishes it off perfectly.


This one's for a girl, with a pink gingham backing and ribbon, a pink heart, and letter cubes spelling GIRL.


This one's for a boy, with blue twine and letters that spell out BOY! The backing is blue gingham.

Pretty, shabby chic hearts

I've been making hearts for a long time, but not put many in the Sew Happy shop. I tend to embellish my hearts with whatever's to hand and have a lot of fun with them.

Take your pick from these five.


Two have hand covered buttons. Choose from Heart A:

The three below have letter cubes threaded onto the hanging ribbon. On the left, the cubes read 'LOVE', the middle pink heart's cubes read 'HAPPY', and the right hand side's cubes read 'HOME. Cute Christmas Santa and baubles garland

This is a sweet garland to string across your mantelpiece or window, to help welcome the Christmas season into your home. Each Santa Claus is doing something different.


The Santas and baubles are all lightly stuffed to give a 3D effect.

Lavender drawer sachets ... Great fun!

Pineapples, pears, apples, and cherries abound on this wonderful fruit fabric print. I love this fabric because it makes me laugh. I've made it up into little lavender drawer sachets. My family love these, so I'm going to be using it to make more little things... watch this space!


Each sachet has a filling of lavender, sourced from my local organic lavender farm.


I've also added my Sew Happy label, so they could be hung on a wall to delicately fragrance a bathroom when squeezed... and provide a bit of a fun talking point.

They are all backed with a cheerful, contrasting blue and white stripe fabric.


I chose it because it gave me lovely echoes of memories of beach huts and towels.
